REAL are very pleased to announce that the first project of the Research Hub:
‘The development of a Research Library for the Organics Recycling industry’
is complete, and the Research Library, an online platform compiled of research undertaken across the composting and anaerobic digestion industries, with effort being focussed particularly on the past decade and on research that is of relevance to the UK, has launched today: Tuesday 26th January 2021.
The concept for the Research Library was submitted via the Research Hub’s Call for Proposals in 2019, and REAL have been working closely with NNFCC, the project contractor, to bring the idea to fruition.
Not only will the library collate research that has been carried out across the industries, but it will also highlight ‘research gaps’; areas of research that are limited or absent altogether.
The library content will advance industry knowledge, inform areas of focus for future Research Project Proposals to be submitted to and taken forwards by the Hub, and in turn drive industry forwards.
The library can be used as a tool to generate inspiration for the Research Hub’s 2021 Call for Proposals.
You can access the library using: www.realresearchlibrary.org.uk.
CCS and BCS participants are granted priority access to the Research Library. Each scheme participant was emailed their Research Library access details (Username & Password) on Monday 25th January 2021.
Wider industry may request access to the library, by visiting the webpage and selecting the 'Request access here' option. Access is granted on a case-by-case basis.
Any questions related to the Research Library, please contact Research Hub Manager, Olivia Furssedonn, using olivia@realschemes.org.uk.
