Renewable Energy Assurance Limited (REAL) has published its fourth annual report for the Compost Certification Scheme, providing an overview of the scheme and summary of scheme developments in 2019.
In summary, there were a total of 182 processes certified under the CCS and approximately 1.96 million tonnes of quality compost were being produced annually in the UK by the end of 2019.
The report also presents an overview of the Biofertiliser Certification Scheme and includes the Research Hub 2019 Annual Report.
