REAL has published its eighth annual report for the Compost Certification Scheme, providing an overview of the scheme and summary of scheme developments in 2023. The report shows that that by the end of 2023, there were 175 certified composting processes in the UK: 134 in England, 6 in Northern Ireland, 21 in Scotland, and 13 in Wales, and 1 in the Republic of Ireland.
The report also presents an overview of the Biofertiliser Certification Scheme and includes the Research Hub 2023 Annual Report.
